In one of the unique experiences, the Director of the Erasmus National Office in Palestine launches the first lecture in the Joint Master of Water Science Innovations Program between Palestine Technical University Kadoorie and Al-Quds University Abu Dis, funded by the Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education Program. The students from Palestine Technical University Kadoorie and Al-Quds University participated in the first lecture in Food Water Energy Nexus, as face-to-face in the virtual education laboratories that were established through the WaSec project and simultaneously also through the zoom technology. During his speech, Dr. Jayyousi explained that this experience is very important in terms of the policies set by the European Agency for this CBHE ERASMUS + programs, in term of supporting joint education and globalization in education systems, in addition to the exchange of experiences between different Higher Education institutions. Dr. Jayyousi explained that there are many opportunities for students, including opportunities to apply for student exchange programs through ERASMUS International Credit Mobility Program. Prof. Saed Khayat, the director of the WaSec Erasmus project from Palestine Technical University, Kadoorie, and the coordinator of the master program at PTUK, expressed his deep gratitude for Dr. Nidal Jayyousi for his support and personal attendance at the opening of the first master’s lecture, which indicates the support of the National Erasmus Office for successful initiatives in the areas of innovation in education, especially this unique experience. Within the same context, Prof. Amer Marei the coordinator of the master program at AQU, indicated that the program is a unique experience at the national level, and indicated that this master program is open to other Palestinian universities to be engaged in the program, thus to make it as national program that supports the water sector effectively and- also is able to solve the sector’s problems with a complete support from the Palestinian Water Authority.
